The birds are usually not with shotguns, fired guns. The proportion of the weapon is usually around 1200-1300 meters per second. Some old rifle bullets fired blank cartridges in the same order of magnitude of speed and on the other hand, the cartridges than 220 Swift, a modern cartridge introduced in 1935 that can reach speeds of 4100 meters per second.

First, firing a weapon in birds led to stray bullets
Flies, which is a really bad idea. - None.
Bullets can ring the speed of about 1000 to 2000 per FPS
Balls centerfire rifle from 2000 to 4000 FPS
according to the used cartridges and loads.

I can not answer this question without more information. Fastest savage 22 cal cartridges 4000fps or more hits. 30/06 A projectile is 3000fps give or take a few hundred, depending on bullet weight. There are too many variables to give a good answer.

It depends on the size and weight of the ball. If you know the calibration, go to a website looking for ammunition and. Here are a few that I use:
www.winchester.com
www.remington.com
